Description: The Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) announces a Request for Proposals from organizations interested in submitting proposals for effective and immediate approaches to 1) disburse small, short-term emergency financial support to religious freedom victims facing long-term detention or death sentence for their religious beliefs (or lack thereof) or expression of beliefs; and 2) fund short-term innovative initiatives that defend and/or support religious freedom and tolerance, including activities that support education, training, and public outreach such as at multilateral fora.
